Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and LightLine ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Alpha Zulu Suite aviation management platform, including all associated websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
Important: The Service is designed to assist with aviation record-keeping and management. It does not replace official FAA records, certificated mechanics' professional judgment, or required regulatory compliance documentation. You remain solely responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other aviation laws.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Ensuring that you log out of your account at the end of each session
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
Account Types
The Service offers various account types with different access levels, including but not limited to:
- Pilot: Personal flight logging and aircraft access
- Aircraft Owner: Full aircraft management and record-keeping
- A&P Mechanic: Maintenance documentation and sign-off capabilities
- Repair Facility: Multi-user shop management and work order processing
- Experimental Builder: Build project tracking and documentation
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Falsify, misrepresent, or fabricate aviation records, maintenance entries, or compliance documentation
- Impersonate any person or entity, including certificated mechanics or inspectors
- Forge or manipulate digital signatures or approval timestamps
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
- Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Collect or harvest other users' personal information
- Use the Service in any way that violates Federal Aviation Regulations or other applicable laws
Aviation Safety Notice: Falsification of aircraft maintenance records is a federal offense under 18 U.S.C. 1001 and may result in certificate action by the FAA, civil penalties, and criminal prosecution. The Service logs all record entries with timestamps and user identification for audit purposes.

Alpha Zulu Suite provides aviation management tools including:
- Digital aircraft logbook management
- Maintenance tracking and scheduling
- Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance monitoring
- Flight logging and time tracking
- Squawk reporting and work order management
- Document storage and organization
- Weight and balance calculations
- Multi-user collaboration for partnerships and facilities
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Emergency repairs or security updates
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that materially affect your use of the Service.
User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload, submit, or create through the Service ("User Content"), including aircraft records, maintenance entries, documents, and photographs.
License Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account, except for:
- Backup copies retained for disaster recovery
- Content shared with other authorized users who have not deleted it
- Anonymized or aggregated data used for analytics
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that:
- You have all necessary rights to upload and share the content
- The content is accurate and not misleading
- The content does not violate any third party's rights
- The content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
Intellectual Property
Our Property
The Service, including its design, features, software, and content created by us, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
Trademarks
"LightLine," "Alpha Zulu Suite," and associated logos are trademarks of LightLine. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

- Cloud storage providers
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Payment Terms
Subscription Plans
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your paid period.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Any defects in the Service will be corrected
Aviation Disclaimer: The Service is a record-keeping and management tool only. It does not provide aviation advice, maintenance recommendations, or airworthiness determinations. All aviation decisions must be made by appropriately certificated individuals in accordance with applicable regulations.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LightLine, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your User Content
- Any dispute between you and a third party
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You breach these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
- We reasonably believe your account has been compromised
- Your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or our systems
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
- We may delete your account and User Content after a reasonable retention period
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., limitations of liability, indemnification) will remain in effect
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Florida, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LightLine regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Notices
We may provide notices to you via email, posting on the Service, or other reasonable means. You may contact us using the information provided below.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
- Sending an email notification for significant changes
- Displaying a prominent notice within the Service
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
